Welcome to Solar Exit Financing (“Solar Exit Financing,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Solar Exit Financing website, services, financing-related features, forms, applications, and other resources made available through SolarExitFinancing.com (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, submitting information, requesting financing options, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not access or use the Platform.

About Solar Exit Financing

Solar Exit Financing provides a platform designed to help connect homeowners and other prospective applicants with independent participating lending partners that may offer financing for eligible solar exit-related services.

Depending on the service provider and participating lender, eligible expenses may include solar contract cancellation or resolution services, legal or professional service retainers, solar system buyouts, solar panel removal, roof restoration, and other qualifying services associated with resolving or exiting an existing residential solar agreement or system.

Solar Exit Financing is not a lender and does not originate loans, extend credit, make credit decisions, approve or deny financing applications, or determine loan rates or repayment terms. We also do not provide legal, financial, tax, or investment advice.

Any financing product or offer made available through a participating lender is provided solely by that lender. The applicable lender is independently responsible for its underwriting, eligibility requirements, credit decisions, disclosures, loan terms, funding, servicing, repayment, collections, and compliance with applicable lending laws.

Eligibility

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements.
  • All information you provide is truthful, accurate, current, and complete.
  • You will promptly update information that becomes inaccurate or incomplete where applicable.
  • Your use of the Platform complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

If you use the Platform on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to act on behalf of that organization and, where applicable, bind it to these Terms.

Our Services

Solar Exit Financing facilitates connections among prospective applicants, participating service providers, and independent lending partners.

Depending on the services available at the time, the Platform may allow users to:

  • Learn about financing options that may be available for qualifying solar exit-related services.
  • Submit requests for financing information or prequalification.
  • Connect with participating lending partners or financing platforms.
  • Connect with participating solar exit-related service providers.
  • Receive communications concerning financing requests or related services.

The services, financing programs, participating lenders, service providers, and features available through the Platform may change at any time.

Nothing displayed on the Platform constitutes an offer to lend money, an extension of credit, or a guarantee that financing will be available.

No Lending Relationship

Solar Exit Financing is not a bank, credit union, lender, or lending institution. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Solar Exit Financing does not:

  • Approve or deny financing applications.
  • Determine interest rates or APRs.
  • Establish repayment terms.
  • Make underwriting or credit decisions.
  • Fund loans.
  • Service loans.
  • Collect loan payments.

Financing decisions are made independently by participating lending partners according to their own underwriting standards, eligibility criteria, and lending policies.

Any prequalification or potential financing option presented through or in connection with the Platform should not be interpreted as a guarantee of final approval, loan terms, or funding.

Loan availability, loan amounts, APRs, interest rates, fees, repayment terms, eligibility requirements, and other financing conditions are determined by the applicable participating lender and may vary by applicant.

Applicant Responsibilities

Applicants are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information when requesting financing or using the Platform.

Submitting a financing request does not obligate you to accept a financing offer, purchase solar exit-related services, or enter into an agreement with a lender or service provider.

Likewise, submitting information does not guarantee that you will qualify for financing or receive any particular financing offer.

You are responsible for carefully reviewing all loan disclosures, interest rates, APRs, fees, repayment obligations, privacy notices, and contractual terms provided by a participating lender before accepting a financing offer.

Service Provider Responsibilities

Solar exit companies, attorneys, contractors, consultants, and other businesses or professionals participating in or receiving referrals through the Platform are independent third parties.

Participating service providers are solely responsible for maintaining any licenses, registrations, insurance, certifications, permits, or other credentials required to provide their services and for complying with applicable laws and professional requirements.

Service providers are also responsible for accurately representing their services, pricing, qualifications, capabilities, expected outcomes, and other material information provided to consumers.

Participation in the Platform does not create an employment relationship, agency, partnership, joint venture, franchise, or similar relationship between Solar Exit Financing and any participating service provider.

No Guarantee of Solar Exit or Service Outcome

Solar Exit Financing does not guarantee that a solar agreement can be canceled, terminated, modified, transferred, bought out, settled, or otherwise resolved.

We do not guarantee the outcome of any solar contract dispute, legal matter, negotiation, panel removal, system buyout, roof restoration, or other solar exit-related service.

Any statements regarding potential outcomes, timelines, costs, savings, legal rights, or available remedies should be evaluated directly with the applicable qualified service provider.

Obtaining financing does not guarantee the success or completion of any solar exit-related service.

Independent Service Providers

Solar Exit Financing does not itself provide legal representation, solar contract cancellation services, solar panel removal, roofing services, solar system buyouts, or other professional solar exit services unless expressly stated otherwise.

Any agreement for services is between you and the applicable independent service provider. Solar Exit Financing is not responsible for the acts, omissions, representations, performance, pricing, advice, warranties, or results of independent service providers.

You are responsible for evaluating a service provider and reviewing the provider’s agreement, credentials, fees, scope of services, cancellation terms, and other applicable conditions before entering into an agreement.

Third-Party Financing Partners

Solar Exit Financing may work with independent lenders, financing providers, marketplaces, and technology partners to facilitate access to potential financing opportunities.

These third parties operate independently and maintain their own approval criteria, underwriting standards, loan products, disclosures, privacy practices, and customer agreements.

Solar Exit Financing does not control or guarantee:

  • Loan approval decisions.
  • Loan amounts or credit limits.
  • Interest rates or APRs.
  • Monthly payment amounts.
  • Repayment terms.
  • Fees or other loan costs.
  • Funding timelines.
  • Promotional financing offers.
  • Customer service provided by participating lenders.

Any financing agreement you enter into is between you and the applicable lender. You are responsible for reviewing and understanding all disclosures and contractual documents before accepting an offer.

Accuracy of Information

You agree that information you submit through the Platform will be accurate, complete, current, and truthful to the best of your knowledge.

Providing false, incomplete, fraudulent, or misleading information may result in delayed processing, the unavailability of financing opportunities, or restriction of your access to the Platform.

We or participating third parties may request additional information or documentation when reasonably necessary to verify information submitted in connection with a financing request or related service.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to or integrations with websites, applications, lenders, financing platforms, solar exit companies, attorneys, contractors, and other services operated by independent third parties.

Solar Exit Financing does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, products, services, representations, or actions of independent third parties.

Your interactions with third-party websites, lenders, financing platforms, and service providers are governed by their respective terms, agreements, disclosures, and privacy policies.

No Professional Advice

Information provided through Solar Exit Financing is for general informational purposes only.

Nothing on the Platform constitutes legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, insurance, roofing, engineering, solar, or other professional advice.

Solar contracts and potential exit options can involve significant financial, contractual, technical, and legal considerations. You should consult an appropriately qualified attorney, financial professional, contractor, or other professional regarding your individual circumstances when necessary.

Solar Exit Financing does not guarantee that any financing product, service provider, solar exit strategy, or other option is appropriate for your particular circumstances.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Solar Exit Financing disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, or uninterrupted operation to the extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant or guarantee that the Platform will always be available, that financing will be available to every applicant, that any lender will approve an application, that any financing offer will remain available, or that any independent service provider will achieve a particular outcome.

Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Solar Exit Financing and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, technology providers, participating partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or special damages arising from or relating to your use of the Platform.

This includes, without limitation, damages or losses associated with financing decisions, loan denials, interest rates, loan terms, funding delays, solar exit services, contract disputes, legal services, solar panel removal, roofing work, independent service provider performance, third-party products or services, lost business opportunities, lost data, or interruption of service.

If Solar Exit Financing is found liable for a claim arising from your use of the Platform, our total liability shall not exceed the greater of one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you paid directly to Solar Exit Financing for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, the applicable limitations will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Solar Exit Financing and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, technology providers, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or relating to your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, information you submit, violation of applicable law, or infringement of another person’s or organization’s rights.

Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how personal information may be collected, used, disclosed, and protected.

Information submitted directly to an independent lender, financing platform, service provider, or other third party may also be governed by that third party’s privacy policy.

Solar Exit Financing may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Platform when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, fraudulent or unlawful activity has occurred, submitted information is materially inaccurate or misleading, or continued access could create legal, security, operational, or reputational risks.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you and Solar Exit Financing agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes through informal discussions.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue remedies available under applicable law in a court of competent jurisdiction unless another applicable written agreement requires a different dispute-resolution procedure.

Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking temporary injunctive, equitable, or emergency relief where permitted by law.
